To the family and loved ones of Christian Stover,
My name is Allison Reich and I am 18 years old. I am originally from San Diego and moved 11 years ago to Jacksonville, Florida. My family and I come to visit relatives here in San Diego every year and we always stop to visit my grandma's grave which is in the same cemetery as Christian. Today, December 28th, my family was visiting at the cemetery and we came upon Christian's head stone. We saw all of the beautiful flowers and the Christmas tree with all of the ornaments and when we looked down we saw how young he was. We also made note that I am only a couple months older than him, I was born on May 29th, 1992. A feeling of shock overcame me that someone my age had passed away so early.
Even though I did not know Christian I felt calm and comforted. My family all walked away to go back to the car but I stayed and brushed away all of the dead flowers and dirt off of his headstone and fixed some of the fallen flowers. All of the sudden I heard a noise coming from the Christmas tree. It was a song playing from the Elvis guitar ornament. I was not scared but I became excited. I called for my family to come back and we tested the ornament to see how sensitive it was and when we pushed the buttons it did not even work.
I am not superstitious but I felt like he was there... For some reason I kept coming back to his headstone and I became curious about him.
My cousin and I found out about the accident and about the foundation so I decided to contact you and tell you my story. Some people are more open about happenings like this than others but I know what I heard and no one was around but me. Call it a coincidence or whatever you like but I felt like he was there. My heart goes out to his family and loved ones and I feel that by what happened today that maybe our loved ones who have passed are still there, watching over us and I know he still lives on in your hearts.
I wish the best for the Stover family and hope that maybe my story has given you some happiness and comfort. Feel free to contact me if you like
All my love,
Allison Reich

Probably my favorite story was when Christian and I were playing golf up at Barona in the AM with his dad Denny, this was when we had TOOOO much fun the night before of course. It started off as a normal game until we both started sucking and making silly mistakes, then we got bored with golf so we had to make some fun out of the day. With Christian and myself being into racing we thought what better to do then to take turns hotrodding the golf cart when Denny wasn't looking
It be came a game to see who could get the craziest with the electric powered cart. We were doing 360's on the wet fairways and pinning it around off camber unsafe turns. It was by far the most funn i have ever had in a golf cart. We were having so much fun until Christian got us on two wheels and i had to put my foot down to keep us from flipping ( it was messed up the rest of the day) but totally worth the fun.
I miss you more then words can explain buddy.

I met the Stover family in Las Vegas at the Super Nats. Christian was running cadet. Amazing family and kid, this is very large loss to the racing community. Christian was such a great talent behind the wheel and hanging out in the pits.
So sorry for your loss!

One day I had to go and take pictures of the El Cap volleyball team for yearbook. I saw Christian as I was walking in and talked to him for a few minutes. Then he says, "I have to go to the bathroom." I then noticed that he walked into the girls bathroom! haha. He came out and I told him, "Don't worry, I totally saw that!" He was so embarrassed but it was so funny.
I also remember sitting at home one day texting Christian. He was waiting for his haircut appointment and we made plans to hang out afterwards. Everyone knows that Christian LOVES Taylor Swift :] He wanted to hear her new CD so I brought it to him the next day so he could take it home and burn it for himself. Well he loved it so much, that he never gave it back lol. We were texting later that day about the CD and he was telling me how "Hey Stephen" was his favorite song and how "White Horse" was his least favorite. Every time I listen to Taylor Swift I think or Christian.
I miss him so much and can't wait to see that beautiful smile of his again :]

As a former member and web-writer of the Calfornia Lightning Sprints, I wanted to let the world know that Christian will never be forgotten.
The first time I saw Christian and Denny at our opening day practice at the Perris Auto Speedway, I surely couldn't believe that this scrawny little kid was going to run a Lightning Sprint with our club.
Well, much to my amazement, he not only ran with us , but opened a can of whupp-ass on most of our club.
Driving like a veteran from his opening race, he set some new standards within the club and became the benchmark for everyone.
Winning many races, always finishing up front, and fighting it out for the "Rookie-of-the-Year Award" were just a few of his amazing accomplishments within his short span within the CLS.
Christian's smile always preceeded him to every drivers meeting, and his skill in the seat showed his maturity beyond his years.
A real 1st. class young man...coming from a 1st. class family.
Christian was about to set the racing world on FIRE.
You are missed by the California Lightning Sprint Family Christian....
Best wishes to the Stover Family on this day.
We're thinking of you all!

Today is one year. We all miss you Christian and we always will. We all love you bud. chris niemi
I also was blessed to work on Christian's racecars.
Christian has been offered to work on Gary’s lot out in El Cajon. He had talked his mom and dad into letting him go to boomers, and that I would take him. So we went to bookers and you have to leave your drivers license to get your putters for mini golf. we leave and Christian ended up staying the night so I could get him to work by 7(not a minute late or no money) so he said "to step on it or im going to be late" and sure enough out of the fog was a black and white standing in the road with his hand out.. So I stopped and the officer came up to the window and you know!! asked for my license and I grabbed my wallet and there wasn’t an id, Christian has spoke up (KNOWING THE COP, WHICH WAS HIS NEIGHBOR) and talked him the story and talked his way out of the ticket for me. We drove off and he said to me "STICK WITH ME SON... I'LL TAKE YOU TO THE TOP" we must have laughed for about 10mins to where we could barley breath. After all of that we still managed to get there on time...
Christian was smooth and could talk his way out of anything and always left you with a smile on your face. C’mon he talked me into wearing a trash bag and sliding down a sandpaper slide for a good laugh. It was worth it to get Alexis to snort!!
Christian was more than a friend and I was very lucky to get to work with such a great family. Denny,Kim,Alexis,Sophie Lu,Dennis,Judy,Jaco,Ann, Jason,Brooke,Chase I want you guys to know I miss you and love you guys very much, and appreciate the opportunity to work for your family
